Text messaging terms

Effective September 18, 2026. McClure & Co. Insurance Advisory.

Short and specific: what our texts are, how often they arrive, and how to stop them.

01The program

McClure & Co. Conversations is how McClure & Co. Insurance Advisory texts people who asked us to. You join by ticking the text message consent box on one of our forms (for example the careers application, the contact form or a booking page), or by texting us first. Consent to receive texts is never a condition of applying, of buying anything, or of working with us.

02What we send

Messages are conversational and about your own enquiry:

  • Replies to your application for an advisor role, including scheduling a call with a partner.
  • Replies to your request for a life insurance review, including scheduling and follow-up questions.
  • Appointment confirmations, reminders and rescheduling.
  • Answers to questions you text us.

03How often

Message frequency varies with your conversation. Most people receive between one and six messages in a month in which they have an open enquiry or an appointment, and none otherwise. We send texts only between 8:00 am and 9:00 pm in your local time.

04Cost

We do not charge for text messages. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan.

05How to stop

Reply STOP to any message at any time. You will receive one message confirming that you are unsubscribed, and no further texts. Reply START to join again. Opting out of texts does not affect your application, your appointment or your policy; we will reach you by email or phone instead.

06How to get help

Reply HELP to any message, email hello@mcclureandco.com.

07Carriers

Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery depends on your carrier and your device.

08Your privacy

Mobile information and text messaging opt-in consent are never sold, shared or otherwise disclosed to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. See our privacy policy for everything else we collect and why.

09Changes

If these terms change we will post the new version here with a new date.
